Glad you're here! No, seriously! If you're looking at my website and want to get an idea of what kind of person I am, it means you're about to initiate something. Something that enriches and improves your life. As a long-time personal trainer and coach, I learn something about myself with every person I work with.

I believe that the most important thing you should know about me at this point is what I identify with and what matters to me.

Oliver Barth | Personal Training & Nutrition

I personally believe that everything we do in life ultimately serves two purposes: Avoiding pain and/or feeling better.

My health and yours are important to me. Integrity is important to me; that means I live as I recommend to you. People, animals, and nature are important to me. When I recognize where your potential lies dormant, it is important to me that YOU also recognize and experience it. In my life, I am the most important person, just as you are in yours! If you show me that you truly want to feel better, I will do everything to support you in this, whether in a conventional or unconventional manner!

Joy in life is important to me, fun, laughter, humor! I am a person who (not always, but more and more often) aligns his actions with the inwardly asked question: What would I do now, if I had to leave this earth in a week?

Another question I ask myself before certain actions is: What if 1 billion people were to do this?

What I will pass on to you during our time together is not just my expertise, meaning the know-how in training and nutrition matters. It is also what is written between the lines, that which is sometimes difficult to put into words.

Let's say a feeling. The feeling that you are doing the right thing for yourself! If you feel better, everyone around you benefits too.

Back to the two goals…
Avoiding pain
or feeling better?!

As a personal trainer, I know that accepting one often goes in favor of the other! When you are at your last squat with the greatest effort (and it's rarely REALLY the last), your legs are burning, the pain is written on your face, and you're cursing me, standing idly by, not only inwardly, a few minutes after your last squat, a satisfied, pleasant, and prideful feeling will set in. If you have this feeling week after week, month after month, year after year, you will soon become a different person. You mutate into the best version of yourself!

I look forward to improving both our lives together!
